“Hello to the students, families, staff, and community of Warden High School. I am honored to have been selected to serve as the principal for the upcoming school year, and I am truly excited to begin this new chapter with all of you.
Let me share a little about my background. I bring over 20 years of experience in secondary education, both in the classroom and in leadership roles. I began my career teaching Spanish and supporting multilingual learners in Georgia before moving to Washington, where I taught at Raymond Junior/Senior High School. In Raymond, I also served as a principal intern and the district’s principal substitute, gaining valuable insight into school leadership.
Most recently, I served as Assistant Principal at Centralia High School. During my time there, I supported student success by leading schoolwide efforts to improve attendance, academic performance, and engagement. I also coordinated interventions, facilitated professional development for staff, oversaw student activities, and worked closely with teachers and families to ensure students had the tools they needed to succeed.
I’m looking forward to getting to know the Warden students, staff, and families and becoming an active member of the community. I believe in the power of relationships and collaboration to create a school culture where every student feels supported, challenged, and inspired. I’m committed to working alongside you to build on the great work already happening at Warden High School and to support each student on their path to success.
Thank you for the warm welcome. I can’t wait to get started!”
