The Washington Association of Wheat Growers (WAWG) is accepting applications for the Wheat Ambassador Program. The program offers leadership and advocacy opportunities within the wheat industry and is open to children of WAWG members who are entering their senior year of high school.

Students who are planning on obtaining either a 2 year or 4 year degree may apply at the local level but only students planning on obtaining a Bachelor’s degree will be considered for National award. Students must be a citizen of the U.S.
Must want to attend Seattle University and demonstrate academic excellence, service, and leadership to receive a full tuition, room, and meals for each of four years of undergraduate study at Seattle University.

The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide four-year need-based merit scholarship providing each recipient with the opportunity to graduate college debt-free, providing up to $6,000 each semester. After graduation from college, Hagan Scholars can apply for a two-year extension of their scholarship to attend graduate school or a professional school, receiving $6,000 each semester.
Basic Eligibility Requirements: Must attend an eligible public high school, must have achieved a 3.5 GPA, must enroll in an eligible college or university, must maintain a 4 year or less graduation schedule. Applicants adjusted household income reported for Federal Income Tax purposes must not exceed $85,000.

Warden School District Graduation Pathways
The Washington State Legislature passed HB 1599 in 2019 which gave students multiple pathways to graduation. The students use their High School and Beyond Plan to prepare for their lives after graduation. All students will be required to meet one of following graduation pathways.
Warden School District CTE Course Sequence Graduation Pathway
Students who complete a sequence of CTE Courses that align to their High School and Beyond Plan have met the Graduation Pathway.

Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Test
The ASVAB may be used to meet the graduation pathway if the student scores at least the minimum score (31) on the Armed Forces Qualification Test (AFQT) portion of the test. Students may also get an AFQT score at a Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) using a validated PiCAT (Pending internet Computerized Adaptive Test).
ELA & Math Pathways
Students may use a combination of at least one ELA and one Math pathway from the following:
- College Entrance score on ACT, SAT, AP Exams
- Dual Credit Courses that earn college credit
- Smarter Balance Assessments
- Transition Course such as Bridge to Math & Bridge to English
- Washington Access to Instruction & Measurement (WA-AIM) Assessment
