The Don and Betty Jo Reynolds scholarship honours parents as the most important people in encouraging students to succeed and partnering with the school to support the efforts of teachers.

The HR Trammell and Bob and Kathy Trammell scholarships honour the hardworking teachers who provide the day-to-day instruction and support every student needs to grow and develop as a productive member of society. • Congratulations, Warden High School Seniors! You have almost completed the first important chapter in your lives and are about to embark on the next. On behalf of the family of former Warden Elementary School teacher Sandy Kisler, this year, we are offering one memorial scholarship in the amount of 3,000 dollars.

Mrs. Kisler, a longtime fourth grade teacher at Warden Elementary School, shared her lifelong passion for music, drama, and poetry with her students throughout her 31-year career. These scholarships honor her time in the classroom and the impact she had on Warden’s school community. All students hoping to further their education by attending a community college, a four-year university, or trade school are encouraged to apply for this scholarship.

In addition to completing the PAWS scholarship form, we would like to get to know our applicants better by asking you to submit an original essay (not a version of your PAWS scholarship application) using one of the following prompts. Once we have reviewed your PAWS application along with the essay, we will schedule an in-person conversation with the finalists to discuss their hopes and dreams for the future.

Use one of these prompts to write your original 500-word (max) essay:

    • What impact has involvement in the performing arts had on you?
    • Describe in detail the contributions you have made to your community.
    • Imagine your future life. What will leading a successful life look like to you?

    Good luck to you all!
